Kris Allen - The new American Idol

Throughout the American Idol 2009, I have always been a fan of Kris Allen.

He has this really smooth vocals that could charm you and really makes it like he's telling a story to you. He has played several instruments during his performances, including the acoustic guitar, the electric guitar, the keyboard and piano. I especially enjoyed the way he re-arranged and interpret most songs and made it uniquely his !

Also.... how can one forget his good looks and boy next door image !!!

Adam is another unique singer with a really good awesome voice. He can probably sing any kind of song, and bring the whole theatre down. Wonderful powerful voice and the best part he exudes confidence but not cockiness. Amazing.

However, while waiting for the results to be announced, I was just saying that I think Adam Lambert's name will be called out as the winner. Imagine the shocker when I heard the nane Kris Allen. Everyone,... including the judge expected Adam's name to be announced (not that I am complaining since I have been supporting Kris all the way).

Even Kris beamed with disbelief, shook his head as if to reject that this was really happening.

Well, at least the two finalist this year are both talented, great performer and very very nice contestants. I give my hat over to Adam, and looking forward to get Kris's new album soon.

Ice Cream Craze

Lately I have been on crazy ice cream mania. The thought of the yummy and delicious ice creams especially those that have special toppings on it, really makes my mouth watery.
Am trying out as many shops as I can, but at the moment, this is still my Number 1.

Cold Stone's Ice cream ! *squeal ! jumping up and down!*

Cold Stone have been around for nearly 20 years (omg!) and it is founded in Arizona. This what they describe themselves.

And when you are sitted down, once in a while you will hear the staff there singing jingels ! Not only do they sing, but you can see them smiling and laughing all the way while working. Now that's what I call an Ice Cream Shop.

When we left the place, my friend was asking me, don't you feel happy each time you eat the ice cream? I didn't think much of that statement till now.. as the matter of fact yes.... especially when you get to eat good, yummmy, mouth watering ice creams ! Makes you wanna smile :)

Another Ice Cream which I enjoyed very much is this :-

I can't remember the name of the shop that I had this but I can remember the location of the shop when I am on the street. (hah hah, not helping very much aren't I? It's in Hong Kong btw). I was just walking by pass it last month but I didn't have time to go in because I was very late already :( :( too many shops to "visit". Will blog about the shop the next round I go there k?

Other than the above, I had the normal New Zealand Ice Cream, Haagen-Dazs within a month ! Oh, also, I managed to try the fairly new MOF Ice cream shop (provides Japanese Ice Cream). I have not downloaded pics from it though.

If I am not on a ice cream mania, what am I? ........... Do you know of any good ice cream worth trying ? Let me know.

A New Permanent Home?

I have shifted !
Well, at least till I find that I am feeling at home here. So, for the next few months I will be blogging from this "new home" and see whether I really like it here or not. Been having problem uploading pics in my old blog, and it makes me sooo frustrated at times when I typed so hard, cracked my brain so much, and when I click the "post" button, it hangs ! *pulls hair*.
